Who are you accountable to?

Here we are in the first week of a new month and the question is: will your February be a better month than the past two or three months? What is your plan for this week? If you haven't made your plan yet, you might want to get that done this morning. Calls to be made, appointments, meetings to attend and/or conduct, books to read, 3 way calls, a call to your mentor, listening to a CD that you know inspires you, and anything else you can think of that has potential to help you grow.

Of course the reason we need to take the time to think through a simple plan is because no one else can do it for us. We are the boss. We are in charge. We are accountable to ourselves. It will never get done unless we get into the habit of working from a simple weekly plan.

Being accountable to ourselves is probably the biggest challenge we have every week because as you well know, we don't work for anyone else except ourselves! The only way we can make progress towards our dream is to discipline ourselves to do the activities that have potential to make a difference.

Think about it, then take some time and write your plan for this week. You'll be glad you did.

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
