The point I want to make is not just for sponsoring but for building an organization. There is horizontal sponsoring, which means one person is doing the work sponsoring people. There is also vertical sponsoring, which means there could be several people who were originally sponsored by an upline who wants to build an organization and who are also are sponsoring new people.Vertical sponsoring has the potential for explosive growth. That's right, explosive growth.
For years our monthly sponsoring brought in 30 to 40 new people every month, month after month, year after year. When you have 4 or 5 people each bringing in 5 to 8 new people every month, the numbers grow pretty quickly. I can assure you that I was not doing the sponsoring. We found a few people who wanted what Shaklee offered and our message was it will take vertical sponsoring to make it happen.
Our message was about building an organization. We don't want people to think they have to be the only one working to sponsor new people for their business to grow. Do you want explosive growth in your business? What message are you sending to people in your downline? Sell, sponsor or build? Our message was to build and we don't want anyone to think and believe they have to be the only person doing the work. Vertical sponsoring is explosive. Think about it over the weekend.
