The Power of One Event

 Greetings!

I got a call from Colleen Wagner last week telling me about this event and I asked her to shoot me an email with the results so I could share them with our team as PROOF of the power of doing events-- meetings, in-homes, etc... 

We are in a business that requires and thrives on proof.  Showing a copy of a bonus check or a 1099 shows proof of the money you can make.  Doing a simple product demonstration is proof that our products work and perform.  Sharing the results of a meeting you did-- be it meeting at a hotel,or restaurant, a conference call or webinar meeting, or an in-home meeting in your home or in the home of one of your downline like this one Colleen did-- shows proof that BIG things can happen from a single event that can make a HUGE difference in your business!

In our Monday night TST webinar (just last night), guess what we talked about in the business training?  Doing meetings-- how important they are for your business, why you need to do them, the different meeting venues there are, the different types of meetings and events you can do etc... The next morning (today) I get this email from Colleen showing the proof!

Here is the best kind of proof we all look for and want to have in our business-- VOLUME GROWTH= INCOME GROWTH!  In November, Wagner's PGV was 5574.  In December it grew to 6609.  In January, their PGV was 8767!

Hi Rod,

The numbers are in for the event I did for one of our members  on the Jan. 23rd:

• 13 guests attended

• 6 became members- 5 got their membership  free with one of the join free offers

• 1108.30 PV!

The member I did this event for had sponsored with a free membership in July and she upgraded to Gold after the event!

I have had 3 new member followup appointments and 1 conversation on the phone so far with 4 of the 6 who joined. I will be meeting with the other 2 in a couple weeks. The 3 I met with want to try either the Get Clean caddy or skin care system that I offer to them as members in our Shaklee family. The one I spoke with on the phone wants a call this week to talk a bit more about 180 and plans to order part or maybe all of the 180 system this week!

In-home events are what we used 13 years ago to become a Director in one month, and they are still a GREAT part of our business today!
