The word for today is "invest"

One of the best things that happens for people when they get involved in something like this business is their personal development. As the saying goes, "when you get better, it gets better." The "it" in this case is this business. In order to get better and become the person you're capable of becoming, it is a matter of you investing in you.

Very simply what investing in yourself means is that you will have a profitable return for yourself; you will give your time and/or your money in areas that you know will help you make good choices for yourself. So how can you invest in yourself so you and your future will become what you want it to be?

In this business a major investment is attending every event where you are in the kind of environment that can be inspiring for you.  Are you attending local and regional events? My view is simple: the people you see at Shaklee events are those who want to learn and grow themselves as well as their business. Do whatever it takes to get to meetings and events.

Another major investment is reading.    Are you a reader? I read years ago that "readers are leaders and leaders are readers." This is a leadership business.  What are you currently reading that can teach and inspire you to reach your personal goals? There are thousands of books available that are considered personal development books. Get to a book store and invest in yourself.

Keep in mind the idea that "when you get better, it will get better."

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
