Thanks to Rod Larkin for the very simple and doable approach to making progress with growing your monthly volume and income.
Gary Burke
Team,
Today I passed along an email to our team from Gary Burke about raising the bar that talked about raising the bar of your monthly PV volume. I want to suggest that you apply the "baby steps" principle from the movie starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss-- What About Bob? If you've never seen this movie, you owe to yourself to do so-- it's a classic!
What the baby steps principle means is-- if you want to move forward from a place you are "stuck" at, start taking small baby steps and before you know it, you'll be making progress and once you begin making forward progress, there's no limit to what you can do. You are only limited when you are stuck.
If you are at 500 PV, set a goal to move to 1000 PV rather than trying to go for 2000 PV right off the bat. If you are at 2000 PV, set a goal to move to 2500 PV, and so on.
Adding a new 500 PV chunk to your business may not seem like a lot, but it gets you moving forward and once that happens, you have some momentum working in your favor and the volume will start adding up!
All too often, people set some big, unrealistic goal that looks good and sounds good, but the size of the goal keeps them stuck where they are at and they do not move forward. Does this make sense to you?
You Can Baby Step Your Way To Success!
