A great example

Today's message is from Al Read.

I still strongly believe "Shaklee has something for everyone and everyone needs something Shaklee has" and I'd like to share it whenever possible.

Some time ago as we were waiting for one of your Monday sessions you saw my name and asked how I was doing and then how old are you? I was 93 last September and doing okay I think. I don't consider I have any of the common chronic diseases and I am not on any of the common drugs I still drive and I'm not afraid to do so at night although the farthest I've been alone recently was about 100 miles. We/I have been in Shaklee 38 years and this I take is my own long term study. I give Shaklee credit for still being here.

A story: For my whole life I have never really liked coffee. (I quit about 10 years ago and haven't had a sip since.  I never even started coffee until the Battle of Okinawa when we went on morning General Quarters about 3:30 AM and were given coffee and a sandwich just before that to survive until mid-morning breakfast. The only way for me to get the coffee down was lots of sugar and "god-awful powdered milk.  After we joined Shaklee we "used the products" including Vita-Lea and protein as the training said. After a couple weeks or so I suddenly realized I didn't have the urge every mid-morning and mid-afternoon to go down to the department coffee room for what I now recognize as a "sugar fix."
If it wasn't for Shaklee I believe I'd have developed diabetes and probably the awful things that go with it. I think Jean had diabetes long before Shaklee but with Shaklee and care she managed to keep it under control for a long time without many drugs.

We came to "love" Shaklee but were never successful in building a big business. It was Jean's business and I wanted it to be her success. That's not to say I'd have been any better. Jean and I disagreed on how to present Shaklee to people so I tried to stay out of it even after I retired (in 1990.) Even so, after I retired we were free to go to out-of-town Shaklee meeting like the global conferences, particularly after Roger came on board. I have always been very interested in what Shaklee was doing and continues to do in their research and development. I'm impressed by all I've learned about the Life Sciences since we joined Shaklee. I've been intrigued to realize that the Life Sciences have been advancing equally as much as the Physical Sciences that I consider myself part of.

…my belief  is that "everyone needs Shaklee and that Shaklee has something for everyone.
