Jim Rohn: How to End Procrastination

The following message from Jim Rohn can be worth it's weight in gold for many people. It's all a matter of following the steps he outlines in the message. Don't just read this message. Study it and for those of you who actually take it to heart and do what he says, my sincere congratulations.

How to End Procrastination
by Jim Rohn
Perseverance is about as important to achievement as gasoline is to driving a car. Sure, there will be times when you feel like you're spinning your wheels, but you'll always get out of the rut with genuine perseverance. Without it, you won't even be able to start your engine.

The opposite of perseverance is procrastination. Perseverance means you never quit. Procrastination usually means you never get started, though the inability to finish something is also a form of procrastination.
I'm going to tell you how to overcome procrastination. I'm going to show you how to turn procrastination into perseverance, and if you do what I suggest, the process will be virtually painless. It involves using two very powerful principles that foster productivity and perseverance instead of passivity and procrastination.

1. Break it down.
No matter what you're trying to accomplish, whether it's writing a book, climbing a mountain or painting a house, the key to achievement is your ability to break down the task into manageable pieces and knock them off one at one time. Focus on accomplishing what's right in front of you at this moment. Ignore what's off in the distance someplace. Substitute real-time positive thinking for negative future visualization. That's the first all-important technique for bringing an end to procrastination.

2. Write it down.
We know how important writing is to goal setting. The writing you'll do for beating procrastination is very similar. Instead of focusing on the future, however, you're now going to be writing about the present just as you experience it every day. Instead of describing the things you want to do or the places you want to go, you're going to describe what you actually do with your time, and you're going to keep a written record of the places you actually go.

In other words, you're going to keep a diary of your activities. And you're going to be amazed by the distractions, detours and downright wastes of time you engage in during the course of a day. All of these get in the way of achieving your goals. For many people, it's almost like they planned it that way, and maybe at some unconscious level they did. The great thing about keeping a time diary is that it brings all this out in the open. It forces you to see what you're actually doing... and what you're not doing.

Break it down. Write it down. These two techniques are very straightforward. But don't let that fool you: These are powerful and effective productivity techniques. This is how you put an end to procrastination. This is how you get yourself started.

The idea is what has incredible value

I have a thought for you, or rather a suggestion: when it is quiet, take some time to sit down with a pad of paper and pen and just think about what Shaklee may mean for you. Write a list of what you feel has been offered to you with this opportunity.

I think that there are times that we get so busy doing stuff that we don't appreciate the potential of this business. As Faye and I were driving home from Chicago over the weekend, I started to think about what has happened to us and for us since we've been in this business. It's been over 44 years since I made my initial investment of $4.50 to get started. Little did we know what we were in for. You wouldn't think such an investment would have any value to it but it was the idea that was and is exciting.

It doesn't matter if a person invests hundreds of dollars or a few dollars because what counts is what you do with the idea of the possibility of a different future. That idea has more value than the money. Are you taking advantage of the idea that has been offered to all of us?

Think about it. This idea is still alive today and there is an awesome future out there for the people who decide this is for them and they go to work. Yes, it will take some of your time and a lot of your work but you'll never regret putting in the time and working hard to build your future.

Guest blogger: serious business or hobby business?

The following excellent message is from Rod Larkin. This message is thought-provoking and right on the mark. I agree 100% with Rod when he says this business takes work and what I will add to that is when a person makes a decision to develop the skills necessary for building, their is no ceiling for what's possible.

Enthusiastically,

Hello Team!

In all of my business training presentations, I always wrap up with this slide at the end about treating your Shaklee business like a serious business.

The #1 reason, by far, why most people fail in this business is because they do not treat their Shaklee business with the same respect, commitment and effort that "traditional" business ownership requires.

Owners of any other type of business who have lots of money and time invested in their business MUST treat their business seriously.  They MUST show up for work everyday.  They MUST pay attention to it.  If they don't, they risk losing everything.

Most people in Shaklee treat their business like a hobby business which is fine, if a hobby income, which is sometimes little or no income, is what they are satisfied with.  If a person wants more, if a person wants to earn a great income, increase his/her income, then there is only one way to make that happen-- treat your business like a serious business and it will pay you a serious income!

Over the years I've heard people say-- "If I was able to work this business full-time, then I could really make it work."  there has been a saying every since I've been in this business-- "if you can't make it work part-time, you'll never make it work full-time."  You see, it's never been about the total amount of hours a person puts in to building his/her business.  It's ALL about what you do with the time you put in.

Prospecting and contacting new people, doing presentations with new people, sponsoring new distributors and new members, following up with people, and training and support your people-- these are THE ONLY activities that product growth.  NOTHING else does.  I've seen LOTS of people build very large and successful Shaklee businesses doing it part-time.  Sr Master Coordinators Ray & Sue DeBrincat.  Ray was a senior design engineer for Ford at their World Headquarters.

Sue was introduced to the products first and when she got great results with the products (she was suffering severe hair loss and had a severe stuttering problem, both which eventually went away when she got on  the right Shaklee nutrition program), Sue decided to share the products and start her own business.  When ray saw the results Sue got with the products and then saw how she began making money, Ray joined Sue in the business and not just by being "the supportive spouse", but by actively working and building in their business part-time.

Ray set a goal that when they made it to Master Coordinator, he would quit he high-paying job with Ford.  Working at their Shaklee business part-time while working full-time for Ford, they made it to Master Coordinator in 4 years with 15 1st generation Director legs and Ray quit his job.  That was back in the early 1980's and Ray and Sue have enjoyed a wonderfully spectacular income and lifestyle due to the success of their Shaklee business.

Ray and Sue treated their Shaklee business seriously, put serious, committed, focused, self-disciplined part-time effort every week into building it over a period of 4 years, and it has rewarded them in kind for how they treated their business.

The word for today is "mindset"

A word that has a lot of ability to help people achieve their goals is mindset.  What this says to me is simple and very powerful because once my mind was set on building this business and changing our future I felt compelled to learn and to do whatever it was going to take. I couldn't wait for the next meeting because that was where I could hear the people who were successful. My mindset always seemed to get stronger after I attended meetings or events.

Before I got in this business I had never put my goals on paper. Once I put the goals on paper I started to think more about what it was going to take. I think a way to say this is that if you know what your goals are, you can then start to take the steps toward the right actions. I wasn't going to be satisfied just being in Shaklee and "doing" Shaklee. I wanted what this company offered and I saw others who were making it work and that was always encouraging for me. If they could do it, so could I - bottom line that was my mindset.

Do you have your goals written out on paper? What is your mind set on doing?  Do you know the next steps you'll have to take to make progress? Are you following those who have become successful? The formula for reaching goals isn't very complex but what I learned was I had to be willing to step across that line in the sand and start doing some things that I didn't know how to do.

Maybe a fair question would be something like this: am I willing to do those things I'm not very good at yet?   This is a skill-based business and the only way to develop the needed skills is to start doing the right things. Repetition is the method for becoming skilled. The more you do a specific action the better you're going to become at it. Having your mind set on becoming skilled is what will help you get to where you want to be.

A powerful principle

There is a proverb that says, "Whatever you sow you will reap." I'm sure everyone has at least heard of sowing and reaping because it's such a powerful idea.   There are various thoughts or ideas that go along with sowing and reaping.

Nothing happens until you plant a seed...an idea is a seed.

We will always reap in a different season than when we sowed.

There is no such thing as instant success.

Success is not an event.

There is always a season between the planting and reaping.

We will always reap more than we sow.

Results will always follow effort...meaning there is delay.

Of course the main idea here is if we are sowing, asking questions, listening, giving presentations, following up, helping those who want to grow, if all these can be considered seeds then for sure there will be a harvest. Things will start to happen.

What comes to mind is what I heard at some meetings when we were getting started. The leaders said that results will always follow effort so pay attention to the effort....are you talking to people?   getting appointments? Giving product presentations? Opportunity presentations? If you are doing these activities you will without question experience results in the coming weeks and months.

My congratulations go out to all of you who have been doing some farming, planting all those seeds about the thing we call Shaklee. Keep up the effort and don't ever forget that the results will come eventually. For those of you who would like to experience more growth but maybe haven't planted many seeds recently, it's never too late to start.

Gary Burke

There's a price to pay

"There's a price to pay if you want to make things better, a price to pay for just leaving things as they are. The highway to success is a toll road. Everything has a price."

Nothing of value ever comes easily. The only way to make progress and accomplish better results is by working hard and sticking with it. It comes back to asking ourselves questions. Do we truly want things to get better? Are we willing to leave things just as they are? I have found that when I want our business to make more progress the one thing I usually have to think about doing is putting in more time doing the work that's needed for growth. Doing more personal sponsoring, having more appointments and giving more presentations, attending and conducting more meetings, etc. In order to do those activities I need to devote more of my time to my business. Most people are very busy but growing our businesses takes time and effort.

What it comes down to is: what is it that I can say "no" to for a season or more to so I have the time to work at growth? One thing that most of us should do is take a look at our calendar of the past couple weeks and ask ourselves a similar question: what can I say "no" to so I can work harder at growing and developing my future?

It's not always easy but we all have 24 hours in a day and we get to choose what we do with that time. Think about it.

The word for today is "invest"

The word for today is invest. There are many paths to take when you bring up that word, but I want to use it in the arena of investing in yourself. Very early in my Shaklee career, I heard the following: "The reason you want to invest in yourself is because no one is more interested in your success than you."

Personal development is without question one of the most important things that happens to people as they join Shaklee and start doing things they have never done before. I know this is true because I feel strongly that I know I am not the same person I was when I first made the decision to build this business.

Investing in yourself means buying books, CDs, DVDs, going to meetings near and far, attending events and making a decision to never miss the annual Shaklee conference. The 2015 conference will be held next August in Cleveland, OH. It also means being willing to step across the line and doing things we've never done before. The first time I was asked to talk at a meeting I felt fear. The same was true when I started making some phone calls. I was terrible because I didn't have one ounce of confidence in myself. At the same time I was excited about the possibilities of what could happen. I just had to start at square one and do what I could do.

I hope you have a goal that is so exciting to you that you are willing to step up and develop the skills you will need to experience your personal development.   Invest in yourself. I guarantee you that as time goes by the day will come and you will have become more of what you are truly capable of becoming. Your investments will have paid off for you and believe me when I say, you will become capable of doing whatever it is you choose to do. Go for it. Keep at it. Don't allow anyone to steal that dream.

Working from a plan

"A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow."
- George S. Patton

Yesterday I spent some time writing out my plan for this week.  I have six major tasks I want to get done by the end of the week. As I see it, a plan is simply a method for making progress. A plan is a blueprint, a roadmap, a game plan or a path to take. Over the years I would have to say that working from a plan has probably helped me as much as anything to try to stay on track and move forward.

Over the past 30 years Faye and I have built three homes. The builder we worked with of course always demanded a blueprint. Can you imagine what it would be like to try to build something like a home without having a very specific plan? Impossible. It would never happen.

Why would building a highly successful Shaklee business be any different?  Working from a simple plan will give you steps for what's next. How many calls will you make this week? Do you have appointments on your schedule? Any follow-ups from last week's appointments? Meetings to attend or conduct? Very simply, all a plan does is help you know what your next step will be.

I believe in simplicity and I've tried to do that with my planning. I usually just write down what I want to do this week and try not to get overwhelmed or confused.   Try it if you aren't currently working from a plan. Get out a pad of paper, keep it simple, write down what you want to get done by the end of the week.

I believe if you start to develop the habit of writing out a weekly plan for yourself and then work at your list, you will start to be more consistent and will make the kind of progress you want.

Gary Burke

The word for today is "possibilities"

On May 1, 1970 I saw and heard a new idea. I had only met the guy who showed me this idea about 30 minutes before he started talking about this company and the possibilities for the future. A friend of mine had put me in touch with this friend of his but he couldn't tell me what he did.  All he told me was that he was looking for people, so I got his phone number and called him to make an appointment for him to show me what he had. I went to his home and we sat in his office downstairs. He asked me a few questions, then did a demonstration of Basic H, had a printed booklet and he talked about building a future with Shaklee. What he talked about was how he viewed the products, the company and the possibilities that were available for anyone who would evaluate some products, come listen to a couple meetings, meet some successful people, set some goals and then be willing to learn how to build.

He gave examples of his two uplines' earnings and had proof to back it up.  It just happened that they were two of the most successful people in Shaklee at that time and they lived less than 20 minutes from where we were sitting. He talked about residual income, incentives for earning a car, travel incentives, the possibility to have my own business (I wasn't looking for a business, I was looking for a job), the possibility of having control of my time and there was no ceiling on what a person could earn.

I had never been offered anything that seemed to offer the kind of possibilities he was talking about. I remember feeling very compelled to learn more and to find out if all of this was true. I checked this opportunity out for four months.  I learned that it was indeed true and I decided that I wanted what this company offered. When I reflect back the main reason I made a decision to check this company out was because of the possibilities. What if...?

It's still true today in 2014. The possibilities are unlimited. It takes a lot of work but then everything takes work.  The stakes are high. What is it you want?  To earn more than you need? Travel? To have your own business? To help lots of people? To have control of your time?   Think about it. Ask questions. I've said this before and I'll say it again, this is a very simple business but remember, simple doesn't mean easy.

In a few short years you can do what many people have done and that is to live your dream.

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke

It's all worth it

I have a book titled A Setback Is a Setup for a Comeback by Willie Jolley. The title is the reason I purchased this book because it's about life in general and specifically about what all of us face.  In the introduction of this book it says the following:
Adversity and challenges are life's way of creating strength. Adversity creates challenge, and challenge creates change, and change is absolutely necessary for growth.  If there is no change and challenge, there can be no growth and development.

Read that a couple of times. Think about the adversities and challenges you have faced since you said yes to the Shaklee opportunity. As you look back have you had some personal development? Have you grown as a person? Of course, that is a loaded question because one of the greatest things that happens to people who work at this business is their personal development. What we become is more valuable than what we get in this business.

Most of us are doing things we never in a million years thought we would be doing.   This isn't just about making sales. It's about what was said above: accepting challenges, facing adversity, and experiencing personal growth. What's your greatest challenge this week?    What adversity are you facing? What do you want to possibly change about yourself? Think about those three questions. Keep stepping across that line and do the things that seem difficult to do.

You are much better than you think you are, and you can do much more than you think you can.

Gary Burke

MindWorks Testimonies

Thanks to Gail Bryant for sending me the following MindWorks testimonies.  Gail said that she can't imagine people not wanting this product once they read a few testimonies of the results people have had in less than a month's time.  Shaklee has given us another huge winner and I know these testimonies will help to get that message across to people.

Very Focused and Energized

I have gone to Shaklee Conferences for 20 years. Every year I tend to get overwhelmed by all the information, activity, stimulation and people contact. Each year getting somewhat more difficult as I age. In comes MindWorks!! I began taking it 5 days before the conference in Long Beach, and I will have to say that this is the first year that my brain hasn't "hurt." My head wasn't fuzzy like in the past! This was the first convention in years that I also attended Future Masters (an extra couple of days of meetings), so I thought I was going to be "wiped out" but I wasn't. In fact the opposite was true; I felt very focused, energized, and ready to go at the end of each day. Thank you Shaklee for once again adding an incredible, break-through product just when I needed it most!! It is going to be life-changing for many!!!

- Micki and Tom Roberts

Productive All Day

I started taking MindWorks a couple of weeks ago. While I already take several other supplements, such as OmegaGuard, Vivix and Vitalizer, I noticed a difference right away in my ability to stay focused, learn new things at my job and be able to have all day long productivity.

I do not know if this new product is involved or not, but the dreams I have are very detailed and I remember them the next day.  Not usually the case with dreams.

My job can be stressful at times, and I certainly take Stress Relief Complex as needed, but also taking MindWorks really helps me stay calm and stay focused on the task at hand. Terrific combination!

- Sonia Les Powell

More Alert and Better Mood

I have noticed better memory, focus, alertness, energy, and mood.  Love it!

MindWorks Really Works

Normally, I am not a skeptic, but I was when it came to MindWorksI wasn’t convinced. Then I took the product. WOW!

I have always had an unusual amount of energy but never good focusing abilities.

The very first day that I took MindWorks with my morning shake, here is what happened.

We went to church at 8:30. After coming home and changing clothes, I moved all summer clothes to another closet down the hall. Then brought fall clothes back to our closet. Next tackled cleaning out storage closet of clothes to donate.

Meanwhile, I did three loads of laundry. I then began the process of watering indoor plants.  That takes a couple of hours by the time I trim and fertilize. After that, I watered the 6 big Boston ferns in the front porch and cleaned off the porch.

By now it is around 2:00 and I typed a three page letter to a cousin in a rehab center. Finally, I cooked a huge Sunday dinner for us.

The following day was similar in terms of energy, focus, and drive. I am accomplishing tons more than I used to and I am 69 years old. I cannot say enough about MindWorks; except to say....MindWorks really works!

- Lyn Schloemer

10 Years of Unbearable Stress

I tend to shy away from testimonials, because they are not scientific. Being in academia for over 30 years, I tend to think that only reports complete with empirical data published in peer reviewed journals have any validity. I found something that works so well that I'm doing what I never thought I'd do: sharing my testimony about Shaklee's MindWorks.

First allow me to confess that I am the Queen of ADD and have been all my life. Where are my books? Shoes? Glasses? Sit still. Don’t doodle! Squirrel!!! You get the picture.  After a while one learns to live with it and exchanges the label “ADD” with “multitasking” to save face.  My students still call me “Professor”  which is a mystery to some – including me.

My memory loss was really starting to bother me. I was pushing 60 and expecting some loss of cognition and recall, but I also knew I was dealing with issues far beyond that - and it frightened me.  From age 46 to 56 I lived in an extremely stressful state: a divorce, losing home, income, dealing with a hormonal teen, caring for aging sick parents,  and dying friends. It all came to a screeching halt when my only child, my son, was almost killed in a car accident. He was on life support for a week.  My world stopped and I could not breathe.

After three weeks of hospital vigilance we saw he would live and I found myself back in the classroom standing in front of my students who were waiting for the lecture de jour. Only one problem – I didn’t know what I was supposed to be doing. I knew I was in class, but that was about it. It was scary. My therapist told me afterwards it was classic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and it would take time for my memory to come back. Great.

As the years went on, I saw my memory slowly resurfacing - to a point.  But still I would say I was at half the recall of what I was before the accident. I had resigned myself to the fact that I’d have to use detailed notes to teach and I'd never remember a name even of a family member. Then MindWorks came along from Shaklee.

The first day of taking MindWorks I felt a gentle mental awakening with more clarity but I wasn’t paying too much attention.  Then one day, the same week, in class I found myself on the other side of the room – totally engaged in the subject realizing I had just taught 30 minutes without looking at my notes! Next day – same thing! Whoot whoot!!!  Later the next week I found myself working well into the afternoon and actually making sense which had become a rarity past 4 PM. Teaching in the morning was not just a preference – it was a necessity! But here I was: energy – clarity – focus!  The results made me a believer!!

What I noticed next came as treasured surprise. Along with all the stress of those hard years came a certain level of clinical depression. My doctors told me that the stress during those 10 years had caused my pool of ‘feel good’ brain chemicals to bottom out.  I was given Prozac which turned me into a zombie; then Wellbutrin which made me a raging lunatic, according to my son.  I settled on St. Johns Wart much to the chagrin of my MD. She said it would never get my brain chemistry back to the high levels needed to feel joyful again. It helped a little, but I had resigned myself to never having those light peace filled feelings again.  This past week I have noticed a joyful bliss creeping back into my mornings. Yes, there was a way out of the brain dead pit. For me, it was MindWorks.

I do feel we have a natural ADD-ADHD product here.  Of course we can’t say that being laymen but it certainly appears to have properties to help.  My son, Luke (23), said it made him feel anxiety at first but then he took 2 chewable CalMags and a Stress Relief with it, and had the same focus, minus the anxiety. How I wish I would have had this combination 12 years ago when he was started on Adderall.  So many studies today link drug addiction to early use of ADHD medication as children.

So there you go: my testimonial. I am sleeping better too. And my retention of facts and focus keeps getting stronger.  They tell me that MindWorks also helps reduce brain shrinkage by 30% over 2 years according to the clinical study. That’s impressive but right now I am just tickled pink to get my brain back!!

Susan Bartz Herrick

Lighten Up

I noticed an elevation in mood. I never felt depressed before. I was just unaware of what it meant to feel "lighter." You know when sometimes people tell you to "lighten up," and you wonder why they said that to you.

Well, I truly feel "lighter," and I had not realized what it meant to "lighten up" until I started using MindWorks!

Mary Cardinale

Brain Clarity and Improved Eyesight

I was in a car accident 2 yrs. ago.  From then on, I wondered what had happened to my mind; everything was so confusing!  My first day with MindWorks felt like my brain got cleansed …clarity returned. The after effects of the car accident on my brainwere gone. I think it is improving my eyesight as well. I had to use a magnifying glass for small print all the time and have noticed a huge improvement. Thank you Shaklee.

From Vita Books Health Testimony Library

While sitting next to Ellie on the bus at the Shaklee Conference, we talked about her opinion of MindWorks. She told me that she is 85 years old and that she has someone helping her in her Shaklee office.  She looks great. She has no trouble getting around and her mind is sharp.  She has used Shaklee products for many years.

She said she took her first tablet of MindWorks in the morning and then looked at her desk. There was a high pile of paperwork to be sorted and filed that was about 6 to 8 inches high. It had been there for a long, long time.  She said normally, she would pick up something to be done and look at it, and decide she would work on it another day.  Maybe tomorrow.

Ellie said that she didn’t think too much about it, but through the day, she kept working away at the pile. Well by the end of the day, the pile was down to only a tiny stack. She said that MindWorks just helped her make decisions on the little things that mattered.

Migraine – A Young Mother’s Story

I have tried lots of things for migraines–ibuprofen, Tylenol, muscle relaxants with no relief. The migraines can last anywhere from a day to a week. I have a 1 year old daughter and it’s hard to care for her when I’m sick. It gets so bad I throw up from the pain. Even light bothers me.

When I was at the Shaklee conference I took my first MindWorks tablet to see if I could see a difference in focus and concentration. I  was suffering from a migraine that I had for a day and a half. After taking MindWorks, it took only 20 minutes and it was completely gone. MindWorks will be my “go-to” product from now on.

Rachel

Parkinson's – A New Man

My husband, Bob, has had Parkinson's Disease for many years. Lately much worse. In comes MindWorks. Amazing!

He has been having trouble focusing on computer work. Couldn’t even do bills this past month. Also, he has been falling so much when he is trying to walk. Awful.

MindWorks for a week. Working on computer. Right now on tractor lifting logs from our drive from a mini tornado. He was up before dawn today, mowing our secret garden area! Shaklee has been a great help all along, but MindWorks is a miracle! His walking is something to see. He was walking on rubbery legs (his explanation) and as of this AM he is walking with long strides.

Just write

This morning seems tough to get my mind in gear.  We all go through times when we just don't feel like doing what it is we really want to do. This morning is like that for me. It's about getting started again. Today is Monday, a new week and I feel like doing nothing.

I think I'll do what I read a few years ago.   I recall reading that when you sit down to write and nothing comes to mind, just write. I remember reading that like it was last week. Just write. Write what?  Something. Anything. Just get yourself started. That's what I'm doing right now, trying to get myself moving or inspired by something...all I want is a word. Just a word.

Aha!  Getting myself started. What a great idea. All of us in this business work for ourselves. We are not employees of Shaklee and we do what we want to do whenever we get around to it. It's not just about activity as much as it's about making progress and moving towards accomplishing a goal we may have. We have to make a decision to eliminate the excuses and reasons for not taking action and a good step in making this happen is to have an accountability partner.

We all need at least one person who will always encourage us. We need a cheerleader. A person that no matter what, thinks we're great and tells us we will achieve our goals. An accountability partner. Do you have a person in your life that fits the above description? This kind of person is incredibly valuable. All of us need help in some way to get back on track and do those things we know we have to do in order to grow.

The other thought I have is really important. Are you the kind of person that encourages people in your downline? Do you constantly remind them that they can make it happen because they are the right person for this business? We all have to just get ourselves started and then get started again no matter how many times it is needed. Hey, I feel better right now than I did about 20 minutes ago. I got started.  I just started to write and here I am - done!

Enthusiastically,

Guest blogger: baby step your way to success!

Thanks to Rod Larkin for the  very simple and doable approach to making progress with growing your monthly volume and income.

Gary Burke

Team,

Today I passed along an email to our team from Gary Burke about raising the bar that talked about raising the bar of your monthly PV volume.  I want to suggest that you apply the "baby steps" principle from the movie starring Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss-- What About Bob?  If you've never seen this movie, you owe to yourself to do so-- it's a classic!

What the baby steps principle means is-- if you want to move forward from a place you are "stuck" at, start taking small baby steps and before you know it, you'll be making progress and once you begin making forward progress, there's no limit to what you can do.  You are only limited when you are stuck.

If you are at 500 PV, set a goal to move to 1000 PV rather than trying to go for 2000 PV right off the bat.  If you are at 2000 PV, set a goal to move to 2500 PV, and so on.

Adding a new 500 PV chunk to your business may not seem like a lot, but it gets you moving forward and once that happens, you have some momentum working in your favor and the volume  will start adding up!

All too often, people set some big, unrealistic goal that looks good and sounds good, but the size of the goal keeps them stuck where they are at and they do not move forward.  Does this make sense to you?
