Last Sunday I heard a great message about belief. It struck me that this message applies to all areas of life, including business. When I got started, I wanted to learn as much about this opportunity as I could. I wasn't about to get involved in something I didn't believe in. When I attended meetings here in the Minneapolis area one of the major influences we had was the belief and accomplishments of the leaders in the area. By doing the meetings the leaders were transferring their belief and what I learned from that is people will believe what you believe.
My belief grew because I challenged the cleaning products. It didn't take long for that belief to become a part of me because I used those products every day. I had zero belief in nutrition in the beginning simply because my belief was I didn't need that stuff and I had no interest in using it. In the third month, I started Vita Lea and Protein and to make a long story short, by the third week I could tell the difference. My belief changed and my income ballooned after those products worked for me because I now had the belief to go and talk to people.
Then of course I also met people and heard people speak about the incomes they and others were earning.
Then my thinking became, "why not me?" I had belief in the products and the compensation plan. So the point today is the obvious: my belief matters. Your belief matters. When there is belief things can change mighty fast.
- Know what you believe
- Know why you believe it
- Let your life reflect what you believe
How's your belief in the products? How's your belief in the comp plan? How's you belief in the market all across this country there are people who need what Shaklee offers. Finally, are your actions a reflection of your belief?
The most important belief for you is that you have unwavering belief in yourself. As was said in a earlier message last week, you are better than you think you are, and you can do more than you think you can.
Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
