Today is the last day of March so I hope you take a few minutes to look back on the past 30 days and I hope you see signs of growth. Did you have some appointments to share the earning opportunity? Were new people sponsored into your personal group? Will your March PV be more than February's? Did you meet any expectations you may have had for the month?
Making progress has always been part of the fun part of the business for me. I've certainly had months where I didn't get much accomplished - many, many times. But one thing that helped was my drive and personal desire to grow the business. I learned a long time ago that I am responsible for only what I can control. I'm in control of my personal effort and my attitude. That's it. I am not responsible for things I can't control. I am not in control of what other people think, say or do.
Think about that for a couple of minutes. You also are in control of your effort and your attitude. So, let's think about what you want your April business to be like. Do you have any expectations for yourself for making appointments? Having presentations? Higher PV for April than you had in March? Why not think about it and set some targets for yourself of what you want to accomplish? Shaklee corporation can't do this for you or for me. The company might set some incentives but each individual is responsible for making the effort and having a excellent attitude.
Let's make April a launching pad for the best spring we've ever had. It's simple to make progress but it isn't always easy. But this I know, if you put in the effort and make sure your attitude is the best ever, you will have more fun working your business in the month of April.
Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
