It's never too late to have fun

Gary and I just returned from Orlando on Sunday morning and I’ll be honest, I was pooped – early mornings & late nights, inspiring General Sessions, workshops featuring a ton of new leaders telling their stories (which were designed for every level in Shaklee) - most fun of all, spending time with Shaklee friends both old and new. In addition, it was great fun to have Rachel and her husband and kids in Orlando with us (one reason for the late nights).

I want to tell you about two Business Leaders I ran into.

I was so excited to see the first couple in line the very first morning. They haven't attended a Shaklee convention in years.  I think it’s fair to say that they have been in Shaklee semi-retirement - they have downline Leaders and have kept a personal group volume but haven’t really been engaged in growing their business for many years. But, because when they were “all-in” they built a solid business – they continue to receive pretty nice bonus checks year in and year out.  They decided to attend Shaklee Live in Orlando this year thinking about getting more active.

The second was a young woman I didn’t run into until lunch on Saturday.  Since I haven’t seen her in many years, I asked what she had been up to. She said, “life had gotten in the way” – including 3 new babies and business reverses – and just maybe had lost her dream.  Even though they hadn’t worked their business since 2008 that Shaklee bonus check for about $1500 came in every month. They too had worked hard for over 5 years to build a solid business.

Some of you reading this might have your own version of their stories. You have been in Shaklee semi-retirement – you haven’t been to an annual convention in years – perhaps you’ve given up on your dream of accomplishing more in your business – and yet, Shaklee has still been depositing a bonus check in your account every month

Gary and I would like to encourage you to dust off some of your Shaklee materials – go to myshaklee.com and look at the new materials – listen to some of the videos Shaklee has produced in the last few years – log-into a webinar – plan to be in Atlanta.

You could be inspired by a Tiffany Vin who at 22, is building the foundation of her Shaklee business – or, by Doris Johnson who when she was 88 last September stated her goal was to reach a new rank – Key Coordinator – AND THEN DID IT!  You are never too young – you are never too old. You can be excited to start a career in Shaklee – or, you can reignite a business that has been stagnant.

The conference is fun – there is new growth – there is both old leadership that imparts wisdom and new leadership – The best company leadership ever – the home office collaborates with the field in the planning of the conference. The conference is positive. And, if you haven’t been to an annual conference in a long time – there are going to be people there that will be thrilled to see you.
