Another principle

As I've mentioned in the past couple of messages, I try to keep my eyes and mind open to principles or ideas thatgrab me. So today I want to share an idea I heard many moons ago. My purpose is to try to influence you to think about what you want and what you are doing about getting it.

Here is the principle: You will always grow according to your commitments. As you can tell, simple things seem to attract me in some way. So the thing to think about is this, what do you feel committed  to in this business?

Here are some possibilities:
A title - Executive, Key, Master
Monthly PV - 5,000, 10,000
Higher earnings
Becoming a better leader
Helping others build so they will become leaders
...on and on it goes

I will try to be an example here. What I got committed to was to develop a minimum of two (2) new first level leaders a year until we got to Master Coordinator.  Two a year. Kind of simple. We developed two a year for eight (8) consecutive years so that gave us 16 first level leaders. It took 15 to be a Master Coordinator. The leaders that were developed went on to grow their business and that is what helped our business to grow and grow. The results were we had higher earnings, averaged over 5000 PV ourselves and many of our downlines did the same thing.

It took consistent effort but the way I explain it is that I can honestly say that for me I haven't worked for the past 45 years. This has never felt like work for me because I love this business. But, over the years I've been disappointed, discouraged, upset, and confused. I learned that's just part of doing business. Are you committed? To what? To whom?  Go for it.

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
