Is having your business grow vital for your future?

Most people learning a new skill know they must give it their full attention because they are in an area of
unfamiliarity. The following is a short story I found in a magazine years ago.

Jamaica was once a British Colony and used the British monetary system of pounds, shillings, and pence.  After Jamaica received it's independence the system was changed to dollars and cents. The new government faced a problem.because a good percentage of the population was illiterate.

Officials wondered, "How are the people going to learn to change from the pound to the dollar system? Classes?"  A wise man answered astutely.  "It won't be necessary to have formal classes.  Money is vital to people, so they will learn the new system quickly and correctly."  And they did.

The principle is true. People quickly learn what they consider vital to their lives.

Is it vital for you to learn how to get appointments?  Is it vital to you to sponsor more people?  Is it vital to you that you double your monthly PV?  Is it vital to you to reach a new rank this next year so you qualify for a trip?   Is it vital to you to become a better leader?   Is it vital to you to triple your monthly income?

If it is vital to you to create new growth and the above story is true, what are you going to do with this new opportunity?  You will quickly learn what you consider to be vital to your future.

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
