Asking questions to new prospects

The state fair is here in Minnesota, cooler weather, Labor Day in a few days and kids getting ready for school.  I guess it’s just that time of year and that also means that it’s a great time for many people to get themselves geared up to talking to people about this incredible Shaklee opportunity.

I just want to address a simple principle about making the next few months the best you’ve ever had.  It’s about talking to people.  It’s about being willing to be uncomfortable.  It about working with purpose and getting out of our comfort zone.

This isn’t only about talking to people already in Shaklee, although we certainly want to do that.   If we want to grow we have to be bringing new people into this business which of course means we have to be talking to new people about what Shaklee has to offer.

One of the most important skills we can have in this business is asking questions and getting into conversations with new people and be a good listener.   Just think for a minute.  Asking questions!  Getting into conversations.  Discovering wants and needs of people not in this business.  Simple, right?   Asking questions and listening are two very important skills.

Why is it that many of us don’t ask more questions to new prospects?  I believe the answer to that simple question is we’re afraid of what the answer might be.   Here is the point of the message……Ask questions and don’t be afraid of the answers.   Maybe be nervous but don’t be afraid of the possible answers.

Here is my suggestion for growing your future.  Ask more questions and don’t be afraid of what the answers might be.   Try it.  Today!

Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
