It's your choice

Dr. Howard Hendricks is a teacher who is very inspiring and the following is what he says about being a self-starter.

 

"As a teacher, you want to help people develop into self-starters.  You want them to do what they do, not because you ask them to do it, but because they themselves have chosen to do it."

 

What came to my mind when I first read that statement was the fact that in our business it takes people who are self-starters.  I can recall very vividly my first month of attending meetings.  My sponsor told me about the meetings and he never had to call me or send me a note to remind me of a scheduled meeting.

 

I attended meetings because it was the best place to learn about the products and the opportunity.  I wanted to be at the meetings.  I wanted to learn about the products.  I wasn't involved those first few meetings but the more I attended the more interest and belief I had about this opportunity.

 

So, are you attending every possible meeting in your area?  Are you attending ever webinar you can?  Are you asking questions about what isn't clear for you?  I've never begged people to attend my meetings because my view has always been that I'm looking for people who want what Shaklee has to offer, and are willing to do what it takes.

 

Are you attending every meeting or conference that's available?  Are you that person who wants what Shaklee has to offer and is willing to do whatever it takes?
