Yesterday the message was about our thoughts. Very basic, but if we don't pay attention to our thinking it's easy to slowly have doubt, fear and excuses take control. Our business is more of an "attitude" business than it is a "product" business.
I have always kind of liked simple over complex. As I've said, simple attracts and complexity impresses. Our job is to learn how to attract people to an idea, not necessarily to impress. Again, rather simple, isn't it? Keeping with the "simplicity" theme, the following are 4 simple words (though there are many books written about them) to help you better understand what it takes to build, grow, and make a better future for yourself.
Thought - Belief - Persistent Action - Results
If most of us would resist the "yeah, but...." "If only" "I can't afford it" "I don't know how to...." and focus only on "What?" and "When?" it would make life and business a lot easier. The questions we should ask ourselves are: Am I making progress? Am I doing my best? Am I being a good example for people to follow? Do I have persistent action?
Think about it.
Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
