I've sent this idea out before but it's worth repeating.
There are four basic steps to follow if you have decided you want what this business offers. We have to get ourselves in position by doing the right things that will help generate growth.
Everyone is responsible for putting themselves in specific situations
that will allow you to do the following.
1. Practice - this will help you become skilled.
2. Get some experience - It's tough to beat experience.
3. Gain knowledge of what helps a business to grow.
4. Grow yourself by building your confidence.
What are those steps?
Getting in conversations - Ask questions.
Learn to ask for an appointment.
Give a simple presentation.
Follow-up
Stay positive regardless of results.
