While reading a book this past week I came across one word several times: attitude. I think everyone knows that attitude is important and it's one of two things - positive or negative. Simple but not always easy. I know that over the years I have personally experienced both types of attitude and I'm sure most of you have as well. The following are descriptions of the word attitude from a book by John Hagee.
PROFILE OF AN ATTITUDE
Your attitude is an inward feeling expressed by outward behavior. Your attitude is seen by all without you saying a word.
Your attitude is the advance man of your true self. The roots of your attitude are hidden, but its fruit is always visible.
Your attitude is your best friend or your worst enemy. It draws people to you or repels people from you.
Here is a interesting question: have you ever been around a person or a group who seemed negative to you? On the other hand can you think of the time you were around people and it was fun because it was a positive experience? Here is a dumb question: which group would you be attracted to? Me too!
So the message is if we want to draw people to this business and/or the products, it's very clear that people are drawn to a positive environment with positive attitude. For me Shaklee has been a very positive experience and I have loved every minute of being involved.
Enthusiastically,
Gary Burke
